Humanistic and Person-Centred

I follow a humanistic approach to counselling, which allows you as the client to be heard and to grow.

You have the tools to change, we just need to uncover them.

Practising in this person-centred way, enables you to find out about yourself, in the right environment, with respect and regard throughout.

Safe and Ethical

I aim to provide you with a safe, confidential space where you can feel comfortable to start your journey of therapy.

I am bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and work within this to ensure you are kept safe throughout our work together.

I undertake regular Supervision with a BACP registered Supervisor to ensure my practice is considered and ethical at all times.

Space and Time to Explore

I offer short or long term therapy, which can be reviewed regularly between us.

A counselling hour is 50 minutes and this is your time.

will walk alongside you as we go through the process of therapy and allow you the space to explore yourself and whatever you choose to bring.

Individual and Unique

You are unique and what you bring to therapy will be individual to you.

There will be a non-judgemental space for you to explore yourself and progress through your journey in the way you choose.

We can look at other techniques to help you express yourself, so you can flourish and grow throughout the process.

Sometimes it's hard to know where to start.

Maybe you have experienced trauma, abuse or loss.  Perhaps coping with an addiction or struggling with a relationship issue or questions around gender and sexuality.

There could be life stresses, anxieties or worries.  Past family issues or current life situations that you just can't figure out for yourself.

You may have lost your way a bit, lost your purpose

or lost what used to drive you.

Sometimes, we struggle to know what it is but we do know it doesn't feel right.  These feelings can consume and overwhelm us and stop us from moving forward.

Whatever you are feeling, having a safe and confidential space to explore, within a non-judgemental relationship, can be the start to living better and looking at the future in a different way.

At your first session, we can meet and look more at how therapy can help and how the process works.

Please do ask any questions you may have about the sessions or process - it is good for you to know all the details so you feel comfortable and get the best out of your therapy.
