Humanistic Approach

I practice within the humanistic model of counselling and this forms the basis of our sessions together. It includes a person-centred approach to the work, which will enable you as the client to be heard and bring what is important to each session.

Safe and Ethical

I provide a safe and

confidential space to start your journey of therapy.

I work within the BACP Ethical Framework to ensure you are kept safe throughout our work together.

I undertake regular Supervision with a BACP registered Supervisor to ensure my practice is considered and ethical at all times.

Space and Time to Explore

I offer short or long term therapy.

The sessions are your time and so we will focus on what is important to you.

will walk alongside you as we go through the process and allow you the space to explore yourself and whatever you choose to bring.

Individual and Unique

You are unique and what you bring to therapy will be

individual to you.

There will be a non-judgemental space for you to explore yourself and your feelings.

We can look at other techniques to help you express yourself, so you can flourish and grow.

My Approach
About Therapy & Dawn

Sometimes it's hard to know where to start.

You may be struggling with a relationship issue, work situation

or family problem. Or perhaps you have experienced

trauma, abuse or a significant loss.

Life stresses, anxieties and worries can mix up our feelings and so having a space to figure these out for yourself can be a great release.

You may have lost your way a bit, lost your purpose

or lost what used to drive you.

Whatever you are feeling, having a non-judgemental space within a safe relationship can be the start to uncovering a better place to be.
